Leanne Phillips is a writer living on California’s Central Coast. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Kelp Journal, Persimmon Tree, the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus, The Coachella Review, and GXRL.
Leanne earned her MFA in fiction from the University of California at Riverside’s Palm Desert program in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts. Her cross-emphasis was in creative non-fiction. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in history, from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
